暑气炎炎不足畏，夏木浓荫正可人。2023年5月31日夜晚，我校高中部举办了首届趣味语文表演活动，各班同学大显身手，展示了一场视听盛宴。

The scorching heat is not to be feared, but the shade of trees is pleasant.  On the evening of May 31, the senior high school section held the first Fun-Chinese performance. Students from all classes showed their skills and contributed an audio-visual feast.

任何一个文化系统都有其永恒不朽之经典作为源头活水，经典文学作品凝聚着一个民族的智慧和信仰。阅读经典，致敬经典，传承经典是新时代新青年的使命。在这个美好的夜晚，同学们用各自的方式致敬传统经典，展现自我风采。有《红楼梦》、《雷雨》、《白蛇缘起》等经典作品的配音秀，有《再别康桥》、《你是人间四月天》等经典诗歌的朗诵，有《敕勒歌》、《离骚》、《沁园春.长沙》、《水调歌头》、《清平调》、《明日歌》等经典作品的演唱，有《侍坐》《李密陈情》《雷雨》等经典名篇改编的课本剧，有莎翁名作《哈姆莱特》的独白表演，有小品《四大才子》，有相声《那些年我们接触过的文学》……整个活动精彩纷呈，掌声不断，令人深刻体会到语文这一学科的永恒魅力。表演活动结束后，同学们仍意犹未尽。

Any cultural system has its eternal and immortal classics as the source of living water, and classic literary works embody the wisdom and beliefs of a nation.  Reading classics, paying homage to classics, and inheriting classics are the mission of new youth in the new era.  On this beautiful night, the students paid tribute to traditional classics in their own ways and showed their own style.  There are dubbing shows of classic works such as "Dream of Red Mansions", "Thunderstorm", "The Legend of the White Snake", recitations of classic poems such as "Farewell to Cambridge" and "You Are April Day of the World". There were singing of classic work such as "Chile Song" and "Li Sao", "Qin Yuan Chun. Changsha", "Prelude to Water Melody", "Qing Ping Tune", "Song of Tomorrow" and other classic works, and there were adaptations of classic works such as "Shi Zuo", "Li Mi's Chen Qing" and "Thunderstorm” The textbook play, the monologue performance of Shakespeare's masterpiece "Hamlet", the sketch "Four Great Talents", and the cross talk "Literature We Have Contacted in Those Years"... The whole activity was brilliant, with continuous applause, which made people feel deeply to the eternal charm of the subject of Chinese.  After the performance, the students were still unsatisfied.

节目最后，校监林佳霆博士给全体表演者颁发了书籍作为纪念礼物，鼓励同学们多读经典，做好经典传承人。

At the end of the event, Dr. Maggie Lam presented books to all performers as commemorative gifts, encouraging students to read more classics and be good inheritors of classics.
